Mountain Dulcimer 2 is designed for players with some familiarity with their instrument. You will explore scales, finger-dexterity exercises, chords, and at least two tunings. New tunes will be presented each week in the chord-melody and cross-string techniques. Ornaments, such as hammers, pulls, and slides, will be incorporated into lessons & applied to tunes.

This is a great class for anyone wanting to play *all* the music, melody and harmony. It's a good beginning for those who have mostly played mountain dulcimer on the melody string, moving over to melodies on the middle string and adding chords to your arrangements alongside the tunes you love.

*Prerequisites: comfort with tuning and tablature, some melody tune experience, understanding of fretting and basic strums, and a nodding acquaintance with chords.
