Capo Capers IN PERSON an intermediate mountain dulcimer class
6 week class, 1/15/25-2/26/25 (skip 2/12), 4-5:15pm PST, $160
Often mountain dulcimer players feel they are limited in the keys they can play in without re-tuning. A dulcimer capo offers more versatility, allowing us to play in keys such as A, G, E minor when tuned to DAd. There will be early music, fiddle tunes, European folk tunes and Americana presented each week.
You will need to have experience in playing both noter/droner & chord/melody style for this class.
You will also need a capo. I highly recommend Terry McCafferty's capos. He gives excellent instructions on measuring the width & depth of your fretboard for proper selection. There is also a version that includes an electronic tuner. https://www.mccaffertydulcimers.com/capos
